In December, 2010, Beekauz Kennels said goodbye to our oldest Boykin, Katie's Carolina Sassie. Sassie's accomplishments can't be listed by awards or titles but she certainly made an impact on our 'Beekauz" dogs. As new pups arrived Sassie's job was to teach them to hunt. As she had the "Boykin" nose and the drive to never stop the hunt, she was able to show the kids what this game was all about. Sassie hunted every year of her life but sadly missed her last hunt season. She will be forever remembered.
